Seville bio - Amber Seville

Amber is the personification of not looking like who you are on the inside. Yet she does not allow her cute and  feminine  exterior stop her for being who she really is.  A true tomboy that  does not take herself seriously; meaning her appearance. She does not get caught up in social standards of gender. As she feels that has no value  on who she is or who she should be.  

Born to Alvin and Eleanor Seville, Amber's birth was a bit controversial because for one Eleanor had the IUD birth control device implanted so she felt it was impossible for her to get pregnant but soon learned that no birth control is 100%.  Then once Amber was born she was born with fiery red hair and no one in the family could understand where it could of come from which lead everyone to think that Eleanor cheated on Alvin with  the producer of her show at the time who was also a redhead.  A bunch of drama and paternity test later Alvin soon  ate his words and found that Amber was indeed his little girl.

Being born as the last of all the Seville cousins and being the youngest of two identical twin brothers it was only natural that she pick up on their mannerisms to a certain extent.

being four years younger then her brothers. She noticed at a early age that she was expected to look and behave a certain way. Being the daughter to Alvin Seville didn't seem as fun as being his son. And for a long time Amber sat on the sidelines while her father and brothers seemed to have all the fun. Playing sports and roughhousing with one another while she sat with her mother and aunts in dresses and simply watched.  Always feeling uncomfortable in the attire that her mother would dress her in , once Amber reached the 4^th grade she decided that she would no longer wear anything resembling female attire. So she started wearing old school uniforms of her brothers that she would wear both in elementary school as well as middle school in secret.  Leaving the house in her girl school uniform she would change in the girl's room and changing back at the end of the day. She then started taking more and more of  her older brothers clothes and started wearing them around the house, until it got to the point that, that's all she would wear.

This did not sit well with her mother Eleanor or her Aunt Brittany as they truly felt that there was something wrong with her. Perhaps a gender identity crisis. Yet Amber  does not have anything of the kind. She is well aware that she is female yet she was not going to let that stop her from being comfortable and having fun that way she wanted to have fun. Having no interest in fashion, hair  she made it known that she also had talent in the area of sports and would soon prove it with her gift of being able to play basketball, just playing with her brothers. This did not go unnoticed by her parents as they soon signed her up for extra curricular activities in both basketball and karate. She excelled in them both.

Yet this still  did not gain her the attention from Alvin that she so desired. It seemed that he still hung out with her bothers more. Which upset Amber even more.  And all the while Eleanor became more and more worried about Amber's asexual ways. By age 12 Amber  even though she was in middle school and developing more and more into a young woman she still did not seem to be aware of the opposite sex  as anything different that would peek her interest  other then just being her " homie" as she called them.

Even though Amber didn't noticed, several boys her age noticed her in more then a platonic way. First there was Owen " Spanky" Malone who is in one of her classes and they have known each other for along time. He's had a crush on Amber for along time, but because Amber seems to believe anything that has to do with physical affection is " gay"  and or " soft" he's afraid to let her know.  Then there is Nicolas  Applegate. The little brother of AJ's girlfriend Nikki Applegate whom he and Amber met while their older siblings were on a date at a carnival. He and Amber hit it off well, and Nick could not help but to form feelings for the spunky redhead; yet once again Amber was oblivious and felt as though she simply met a new friend. Her and Nick continue to talk and text almost everyday  which leads Eleanor to think that this is Amber's first boyfriend. To Alvin's dismay.

All and all Amber is a very happy , silly and a bit disillusioned child.  She enjoys playing around and joking on people and more then anything she simply wishes that people would accept  her for who she is. She is very tolerant to other who are different it's a bit sad that other do not give her that same courtesy.
